Overview

The Slot Services Specialist is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, courteous, and efficient service to guests and all team members. The incumbent ensures compliance with NGC and company policies and procedures to ensure guests receive extraordinary guest service and operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

* Circulates about the slot machines area assigned. Ensures good customer service and prompt response to guest needs at all times. Prepares or approves slot payout vouchers and jackpots.

* Makes minor repairs and adjustments to slot machines. Re-lamps and cleans interior of slot machines.

* Ability to effectively communicate with guests, outside contacts, and all levels of team members.

* Ability to stand throughout the entire shift and effectively and efficiently move around work area.

* Ability to obtain a Nevada State Gaming Registration.

* This position is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume and events.

* Ability to use the equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to computer keyboard and printer.

* Safeguards company assets at all times and observes strict confidence regarding company related matters.

* Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.

* Perform minor slot machine repairs not requiring a Slot Technician.

* Support and assist Dispatch and guests on the casino floor.

Qualifications

* High Diploma or equivalent.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.

* Must be 21 years old.

* Excellent Guest Service Skills.

* Good written and verbal English communication and comprehension skills; legible handwriting.

* Basic computer and math skills.

* Understanding and compliance of NGC and property policies and procedures.

* The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
