OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Wunderman team responsible for driving social media efforts for one of the world??????s largest global airlines. In this account management role, you will guide the strategic planning, campaign execution and daily content development for all things social ?????? domestically and internationally. You will gain insider exposure and first-hand knowledge of the inner workings of a global airline. The Associate Account Director will be part of a cross-functional team of discipline experts creating impactful social media strategies and campaigns that engage both new consumers and the brand??????s loyal followers. You will be responsible for helping grow the brand, establishing relationships and seeding content through social channels. In addition, you will be responsible for leading agency resources to meet client marketing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social, digital and PR best practices and be on the forefront of ever-evolving industry trends. She/he will also have a strategic focus and keen understanding of the intersection of digital, social and traditional marketing ?????? and how brands, consumers and business all interrelate. This role is ideal for someone who can pair knowledge of PR with a passion for social programs, along with a strong creative vision. Candidates must be able to understand and articulate the inter-connections of brand, consumer, culture, and digital, being an evangelist for our client as well as an agency subject matter expert/thought leader.ResponsibilitiesThis role will function as the primary client lead for United Airlines, leading social strategy and overseeing the implementation of all social campaigns and engagements. Specific responsibilities include:Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that will increase brand visibility and traffic across all social platforms, including content development, community engagement and influencer managementIdentify and secure social media influencer partnershipsOversee development of community programs and social media promotional calendar that builds awareness and engagementDay-to-day management (in conjunction with the Social Media Manager/Account Supervisor) on Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, Google+ and other platforms where we have a presenceManage and lead agency resources to meet our clients?????? marketing needsProvide perspective and leadership in development of quality solutions and strategic thinkingWorking knowledge of client business and is responsible for communicating this to the teamProvide agency and client deliverables including creative briefs, marketing and communication plans/calendars, brainstorming sessions, creative strategy sessions, POVs, competitive analyses, etc.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messagingManage junior team membersQualifications5-7 years of solid social/digital marketing experience, preferably from a social, public relations or integrated agency; retail, hospitality or travel related experience is a plusExperience with a fast-paced environment handling multiple work streams for large clientsOutstanding polish and persuasive client-facing and relationship management skillsDynamic leadership, project management, collaboration, and team-building skillsExperience working cross functionally with agency teams (e.g Analytics, Strategy, Creative, etc.) at all levelsExcellent written and oral communication skillsWell organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously requiredMust be analytical, strategic, mature and thoughtfulAble to work independently and build strong relationshipsA deep understanding and comfort using all social media networks and content management platformsBA/BS degree in marketing, communications or related fieldWunderman is Creatively Driven.
