Overview

The TG Floor Supervisor position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The position is also responsible for monitoring and controlling an area of a pit consisting of one or more games to assure the delivery of customer service according Belterra Casino Resort standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games. This position is responsible for learning the various policies and procedures required of the Table Games Shift Manager position.

Responsibilities

* Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.

* Assumes overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated area.

* Maintains constant awareness of activities of all games in assigned locations in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity.

* Controls and directs games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction.

* Familiar with Pit accounting procedures and administrative tasks, i.e., fills, credits, marker transactions and responsibilities in regards to Indiana Gaming Regulations, monitors the same for Floor/Box Supervisors and/or Dealers, as assigned.

* Maintains awareness of how each game stands with respect to player limits, special customers, gains/losses, and dealer performance.

* Provides and monitors on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure staff receives adequate guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance.

* Performs related duties as assigned, and performs the duties of the positions within his/her span of control, as appropriate.

* Oversees and assures high standards of customer courtesy on each game and works closely with Special Events, Players Club and other casino staff members in this regard.

* Ensures departmental compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations, and with departmental and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

* Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, procedures, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate or supervise the work of others.

* Demonstrated knowledge of policies and procedures of games supervised, as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.

* Completion of a wide variety of specific games training programs with resulting proficiency in several pit games.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through college level course work in business administration principles and three years' experience in casino or table games operations.
