Beautiful environment to call your officeWhat You Will Be Doing- Oversee all aspects of monthly and annual financial reporting and closing, including preparation of complete financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flow and statement of members' capital) in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Uniform System of Accounts Eleventh Edition, budgets and budget variance analysis, monthly and annual cash flow forecasts, capital expenditure reports.- Direct, manage and support the development, implementation, maintenance and administration of all financial controls and accounting procedures, consistent with established policies and U.S. GAAP.- Ensure timely reporting of local state and federal taxes and compliance in all other statutory reporting. - Manage the Property Owner's Association. - Organize an efficient treasury function to provide proper management of the club's working capital and cash flow in accordance with our guidelines and within the requirements of the club's management contract and loan covenants. - Continuously monitor economic, social and governmental trends and policies to ensure the General Manager and Hotel are kept fully appraised of any implications which may affect the performance of the club in meeting its financial objectives.- Ensure all financial reports, budgets, forecasts and other information required by hotel are accurately compiled and submitted within the specified time limits, identifying variances and making recommendations for improvements as appropriate.- Ensure all legal, treasury and tax documentation is properly maintained and secured and that all statutory and fiscal reporting requirements are satisfied, which will include any governmental requirement for permits and licenses.- Ensure full functionality of the labor management system and achieve cost minimization while maintaining consistent service levels.- Ensure adequate insurance coverage is maintained to protect the assets of the club with particular regard to the requirements contained in the club's management contract.- Establish a comprehensive credit and collection policy for the club based on good industry practice and within the guidelines provided by hotels and resorts.- Liaise with internal/external auditors on an annual basis.What You Need for this Position*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Hospitality or equivalent experience in club environment *- 5 years of experience as an Assistant/Director of Finance in upscale, hotel, resort, or club environment- Proven expertise in financial accounting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, team management and developmentBonus:- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive- Experience with corporate office reporting structure- Experience with Residence Clubs and Home Owners' AssociationsWhat's In It for You1.
