A frontline supervisory role to lead and manage certain aspects of a Distribution Center day-to-day operation, which include but are not limited to safety initiatives, 5S standards, inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and housekeeping/sanitation. Lead frontline union hourly Cast Members as direct reports by coaching, mentoring, motivating, empowering, removing obstacles, and holding Cast accountable to overall job performance and Company policies and procedures. Make productive and positive contributions to Safety, Service and Performance.

Basic Qualifications

* Proven strong background in warehousing and distribution, 3-5 years minimum

* Proven experience and a strong understanding of a warehouse management system (WMS) ? Automation and RF experience a plus

* Demonstrated coaching and leadership skills

* Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills

* Demonstrated computer proficiency to include Windows and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

* Demonstrated ability to manage conflict/resolution

* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays

* Training Direct Reports: Safety, Regulatory, 5S, Specific Job Functions

* Ensure compliance with all operating guidelines, safety regulations, and local union contract

* Monitor individual and team performance measures

* Partner with internal leaders to ensure completion of daily tasks

* Daily Operations checklists

* Daily Payroll

* Daily Operations inspections and observations of Cast Performance

* Monitor inventory levels and inventory movement using manual and computerized inventory systems

* Review compiled inventory reports (quantity, type and value of materials, and stock on hand)

* Enhanced computer skills in order to work with complex inventory software solutions

* Use of computer hardware and associated software (i.e. database user interface and query, electronic mail, enterprise resource planning, inventory control, warehouse management systems, procurement, project management, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, human resources, financial and accounting, value stream mapping, process improvement)
