Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager of the Staff Meals Department, the incumbent assists in implementing all established procedures for the Employee Dining Room and provides guidance to staff as necessary. Ensures a positive dining experience for team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.

* Assists Manager in ensuring compliance to all Employee Dining Room procedures including the areas relating to food handling, presentation and sanitation.

* Provides direction to staff as appropriate and ensures quality and timely delivery of services.

* Ensures room and equipment are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.

* Ensures supplies and food items are stocked and available at the appropriate stations.

* Order as needed in the absence of the manager. Assists with the training of new team members.

* Assists in ensuring only the best service is provided to all team members.

* Assist Manager in ensuring proper cost control measures are adhered and offers suggestions to relating to cost containment and profitability.

* Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company's Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.

* Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.

* Promotes positive guests and team member relations at all times.

* Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of two years of restaurant, cafeteria and/or culinary experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

* The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
