* Greet customer at Valet Porte-Cochere, transports luggage to and from vehicle to guest rooms, parks and retrieves customer's passenger vehicles while creating a seamless customer service experience with an upbeat and positive attitude

* Initiate and engage in conversations with guests on all services across the property including restaurants, entertainment, promotions and events

* Complete luggage tags and valet tickets which includes inspection of vehicle for prior damage

* Answer valet phone and responds to luggage room calls and expedited car retrieval service from Casino Operations for 7 Stars and Diamond players

* Practice lateral service by stepping out of normal job description to help guests and co-workers, when business allows. This includes, but is not limited to, driving shuttles and working in coat check

* Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude with guests and co-workers

* Practice a sense of urgency throughout entire shift to include moving expediently to and from Valet lot and in all other job duties

* Support safety and accident prevention programs

* Present oneself as a credit to company and encourages others to do the same

* Receive vehicles from guests and issue parking ticket

* Open all vehicle doors and welcome guests to the property

* Assist arriving/departing guests with luggage

* Handle guest vehicles safely and cautiously at all times

* Park and fully secure vehicle in approved lots or spaces

* Handle key packs responsibly and return complete keypack to the Valet key station

* Aware of retrieval indication system and deliver vehicles quickly and safely

* Move with a sense of urgency at all times when in and around the main entrance to the casino and/or the Hotel Porte

* Assist handicapped guests with entry and exit to the casino and their vehicles

* Ensure that guest concerns are handled in an effective and courteous manner

* Demonstrate high levels of Spotlight service skill during each guest interaction

* Delight our guests with outstanding service

* Ensure that appropriate service recovery measures are followed through to ensure guest satisfaction with our services and employees

* Flexible and receptive to change in work environment and procedure

* Assist with on and off-property transportation needs

* Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required

* Valid N.C driver's license required, CDL preferred

* Six months previous Valet or transportation experience preferred

* Driving record that meets company requirements required

* Ability to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles and light trucks required

* Ability to drive vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions required

* Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to operate vehicles in a variety of extreme traffic and weather situations

* Must be able to operate an I-Touch handheld device

* Ability to distinguish vehicles according to make, model and color

* Ability to work independently

* Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene

* Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

* Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items

* Must be able to run on all types of surfaces for extended periods of time, as well as up and down stairs

* Must be able to stand for long periods of time

* Must be able to maneuver to all areas of casino and surrounding property

* Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

* Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations

* Must be able to lift up to and carry 50 pounds

* Must be able to have exposure to outdoor weather situations

* Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, traffic conditions and air quality including second hand smoke

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

* Must be able to work quickly, and maneuver indoors and outdoors, while tolerating varied climate and weather conditions
