Job Summary:

To assist the Lead Audio Visual Technician; also monitor equipment operation at each assigned event. To be thoroughly familiar with the capabilities and operation of basic and specialized types of audio visual equipment such as computer data projection, multi-image projection, lighting, staging, concert sound, video projection and video

Essential Job Functions:

* Assume responsibility for accurate on-time set-up and recovery of audio visual equipment as directed so that guest requirements and expectations are fully met.

* Secure all equipment from theft following all security procedures.

* Able to operate the house sound system(s) so that audio visual equipment can be properly connected and sound levels set to event requirements.

* Participate in the larger audiovisual events as an operating technician so that technical audio visual knowledge and skills will continue to improve.

* Observe and correct any housekeeping deficiencies apparent in the overall operation. Senior technicians should notify their supervisor about housekeeping deficiencies

* Mentally plan ahead for each set-up and take all needed items to the meeting location on the first trip so that repeat time-wasting trips back to the storage areas can be avoided.

* Prepare audio visual flow sheets daily so that the actual work of set up is accomplished on time and to specifications.

* Follow all audio visual administrative and paper work procedures so that guest billing is timely accurate and rebates are zero.

* Work off-site when required by business levels.

* Performs any additional tasks or projects as required.

Qualifications:

* Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English. -required

* High school diploma. -required

* Strong computer skills. -required

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office. -required

* Valid Driver?s License. -preferred

* Satisfactory motor vehicle record. -preferred

* At least 2 years audio visual experience. -preferred

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -required

* Must be able to bend, crouch, crawl, climb and kneel. -required

* Must be able to stand up to 4 hours at a time. -required

* Flexible schedule and able to work weekends, holidays and evenings. -required

* Resumes. -required
