Job Description:

The Director Acquisition & Customer Marketing (Contractor) position will be a temporary assignment (estimated 6 ? 7 months; effective immediately to January/February 2018).

The role will be focused on both B2B Acquisition (driving leads and new customer growth) and B2B Customer Marketing (supporting early engagement and initiatives related to existing customer loyalty) for North America (CAN & US, with a keen focus on Middle Market) with some broader responsibilities supporting the Global Marketing function. This position will collaborate heavily with the commercial organization (sales & client management), implementation/deployment, content development and product to ensure we are delivering on the GBT value proposition and positioning the company for growth. This role will oversee (6) direct reports all with varying tenures, skills and responsibilities. :

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Drive the overall North America Lead Generation plan, oversee marketing activities including events, partnerships, webinars and integrated campaigns

* Track lead gen results and deliver monthly business updates on performance to plan

* Manage the strategic lead referral program with Client Global Corporate Payment (GCP); develop 2018 partner marketing plan

* Primary marketing point of contact for US North America MM Leadership (provide updates, align on strategic priorities, participate in business unit reviews)

* Drive overall MM Customer Marketing plan, with specific focus on migration projects and early engagement for new customers and travelers (e.g..: personalized video & gifting pilot)

* Liaise with Content marketing team on required collateral and materials to support lead gen & customer marketing plans

* Partner with new data analytics team on targeting, segmentation and campaign deployment

* Contribute to design and usage plan of new marketing capabilities (e.g.: customer email platform)

* Develop 2018 strategic marketing plan for North America including budget, marketing calendar and bottoms up forecast

* Develop, coach and assess a team of 6 direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 10+ years experience in Marketing, with B2B Acquisition experience; added plus for experience with Customer and Product marketing

* Strong people leadership experience, ability to drive clarity within marketing organization and ensure focus on top priorities

* Strong influencing, relationship building and communication skills to ensure good collaboration and prioritization across the GBT business

* Track record for building a plan, gaining consensus and executing to drive results

* Comfort presenting to senior leaders

* Process driven with the ability to drive new marketing capabilities (e,g.: traveler campaigns, campaign targeting/segmentation)

* High comfort with using analytics and data to inform business models.

* Customer mindset with the ability to translate products and services into customer facing value messages (travel manager, decision maker, traveler)

* Proven self starter who can identify new opportunities and navigate through ambiguity

* Understanding of the travel industry, Salesforce.com, and marketing automation a plus!

* MBA preferred
