Players Club Associate
Provides outstanding customer service to casino guests by promoting excellent guest relations while providing information and/or assistance concerning the casino including, general casino and bingo information, Player's Club transactions, Cigarette Sales, data entry, answering and directing calls. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times when on property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Greets and assists guests at the Player's Club counter;
- Assists in promotions and player events involving the Marketing Department;
- Always stays familiar with promotions, events, games and casino happenings to keep guests well informed;
- Provides information regarding casino services including: Valet, Gaming, Dining, Stay and Play, RV Park and events;
- Provides tours of the casino and bingo hall when necessary;
- Promotes the Player's Club to the guest by accurately explaining the functions of the club and the benefits of being a member;
- Assists guests in completing Player's Club applications;
- Issues new and replacements cards for guests;
- Enters membership information into computer;
- Maintains communication with department supervisors though daily shift reports;
- Maintains and assures the proper handling and routing of all paperwork;
- Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by Swinomish Casino or a guest of the Casino;
- Maintains a clean and organized work area;
- Assist Valet for breaks and shuttle driving when necessary;
- Other duties as assigned by an immediate Supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years of related experience and/or training. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an outgoing personality and strong communication skills. Prior experience with multi-line telephones and computer skills desired. Must be able to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately. Experience working with the public and providing a professional image a must. Must have the ability to drive both automatic and manual (stick-shift) vehicles.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have a mature judgment and the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
A Class IV Swinomish Gaming Commission permit is required upon employment. Must have clean driver's abstract and possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.

Located on the pristine Washington coast, the Swinomish Casino & Lodge is owned and operated by our tribal community. We started as a small bingo operation in 1985. In 1990, we began negotiations for a gaming license and a Compact was signed with the State of Washington in December of 1992. We chose to build the casino next to its acclaimed Bingo Hall.
