Senior Director, Product Marketing (Santa Monica, CA)

Cornerstone is looking for a Sr. Director of Product Marketing to join the marketing team in Santa Monica. The Sr. Director of Product Marketing will drive the vision, strategy and positioning for all Cornerstone product lines across all segments and verticals. This position will ensure that all messaging, sales tools and product campaigns consistently target buyer personas and drive revenue. In addition, the Director of Product Marketing will help to execute Cornerstone's go-to-market strategy around talent management solutions specifically within the Public Sector (e.g., Government, Education, Non-Profits) and Healthcare/Life Sciences markets. Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of product and solution marketing managers.
  • Lead development of an innovative product strategy that meets the needs of rapidly growing technology product portfolio.
  • Represent the talent-driven HCM market and customer perspective in developing and guiding the implementation of a unified product portfolio strategy.
  • Monitor and assess market and competitive trends, talent management trends and research, and customer needs.
  • Work closely with Services and Product teams to ensure product development strategy is responsive to market/customer needs.
  • Develop materials to support the sales team regarding product benefits, competitive analysis, product positioning and market trends across all market segments.
  • Build and oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies and launch plans for new products and product lines.
Qualifications
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business or related area, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of product marketing and strategy experience including managing a portfolio of products and a team of direct reports.
  • Experience with enterprise software or B2B technology required.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and financial goals into department-level deliverables.
  • Ability to communicate and build trust with leadership from other departments (Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Field Services, Technology) to create solutions that meet an optimal mix of client and internal needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to execute.
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  • Proven experience growing technology product revenues year over year.
