Job Description:
  • Greets and completes standard check-in procedures for arriving guests on a daily basis, using both manual and computerized methods ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities.
  • Controls and records financial transactions a front desk.
  • Maintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone.
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
  • Contributes and maintains established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books in order to enhance department communications and operations.
  • Provides assistance to other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel
  • Ensure safety by following the safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity to management.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to type 40+wpm
  • Able to learn new web applications
  • At least one year of experience in hotel customer service or accounting preferred
  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Hourly wage for this position is $15.34, with potential bonuses of over $400 a month.
