The Home2 Suites by Hilton Richland is actively looking for fun, friendly, and energetic Breakfast Attendants. This new property is getting ready to open during winter 2017. We are looking for people who are energetic, empathetic, reliable, and want to work as part of a team to open and operate a new hotel!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create a warm, welcoming setting for guests to enjoy breakfast.
  • Interact with all guests during breakfast service. Create connections and deliver customer service.
  • Acknowledges every guest with a smile and friendly "hello."
  • Manage breakfast inventory.
  • Maintain adequate breakfast supplies and stock guest area as needed.
  • Complete ordering list for breakfast items.
  • Clean hotel guest breakfast area, including: tables and seats, dirty dishes, spilled food or drink, empty trash.
  • Carry breakfast food, dishes, trays, or silverware from hotel pantry to breakfast area.
  • Promptly attends to guest needs.
  • Displays a positive "can do" attitude and thinks outside the box while going above and beyond for all our guests.
  • Demonstrates a team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks, even if outside specific job duties.
  • Holds self and others accountable for achieving results.
  • Effectively handles all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints. Confirms guest needs have been met.
  • Arrives to work on-time and ready to begin shift in appropriate work attire (uniform, foot wear, name tag) neat and professional in appearance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • During the 4-6 week opening process all team members including breakfast attendants will be cleaning all areas of the hotel and helping to get all rooms guest ready. This could include lifting or moving boxes up to 30-50lbs, dusting, vacuuming, folding laundry, making beds, and more. Working overtime during this phase will be mandatory including weekends and holidays.
Position Requirements:
  • Must have a current food handler's permit, or obtain one prior to starting work.
  • Open schedule availability required. Breakfast shifts start early.
  • Reliable transportation. Shifts start as early as 4am.
  • Commitment to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching.
  • Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Smile and provide a pleasant place for our guests.
  • Commitment to work overtime as requested up to 7 days per week during pre-opening.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
