Job Description American Express GBT is looking for a strategic leader to align with one of our largest technology clients in the industry. This Director role will be instrumental in delivering strategic outcomes in a project management capacity while overseeing overall client management. We have the resources, we need a technological visionary to come in and drive these key measurables. Director of Client Management - Global leader, with strong client management experience focusing on delivering Technical Projects from concept to execution, capable of leading a client management team together across multiple regions Clear, concise, transparent and confident communication style Highly visible and playing a lead role during critical project deliverables -strong organizational accountability, ownership and leverage within the Amex GBT organization Strong technical project management experience and managing multiple cross region initiatives Highly innovative, pro-active Other key responsibilities and outputs include: Maintain strategic relationships with key internal partners focusing on Product and Technology teams. Maintain strategic relationship with key external partners focusing on delivering Technology solutions Oversee relationships and initiatives including service delivery, supplier relations, advisory services and finance. Ownership of all client contract commitments, including financials and settlements, MI reporting, SLA and key project deliverables. Ability to balance delivery of client contract commitments against Amex GBT revenue growth priorities and contribution improvement. In collaboration with client program leads, define the program business plan and delivering strategic business reviews and program opportunities. Identifies the business needs and opportunities globally, establishes priorities, and allocates people and financial resources to the client to maximize client satisfaction. Ensure the successful deployment of initiatives and drive innovation within client programs. ???Key Role Requirements: Successful history in defining and tracking key performance metrics for overall project management Extensive experience delivering transformative technology solutions Global knowledge of corporate travel program management and travel industry trends Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance growth, retention and profitability business goals against operational constraints and risk Able to build strategic relationships and innovative solutions across a complex matrix environment Executive leadership for cross business reengineering and other change programs Knowledge and business understanding of exploitation of technology in global client programs A collaborative and inclusive style of leadership Highly credible people leader able to effectively manage and grow in a matrix management structure Strong negotiator and influencer, adaptable style to suit regional and market cultures and operating principles Demonstrated ability to lead a global transformational program in a complex environment Six Sigma black-belt certification and Agile certification.
