Aftermarket Sales Manager (m/f)

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Eaton's Aerospace Group is a spread out globally between the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Aerospace is part of the Industrial Sector and the Aero group headquarters are in Irvine, California. There are approximately 6,000 employees representing all functions. The Aftermarket functions has roughly 60 global employees.

The primary function of the Aftermarket Sales Manager is to drive aftermarket sales growth for Eaton Aerospace products and services in the assigned region. The Sales Manager will conduct sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans. Build close relationships at Eaton sites and with key customers to enhance sales of spare parts and repairs.

Essential Functions:

* Meets aftermarket intake goals, activities and strategies for assigned territory in line with corporate intake goals and strategic plan

* Ability to develop very large proposals across multiple products and sites including cost per flight hour arrangements, present the offering and negotiate a contract

* Performs competitive analysis, develop competitive positioning papers and matrices, formulates responses to competitive threats and develop new initiatives to grow aftermarket intake and sales.

* Calls on key accounts to increase intake and develop deep customer interface and relationship

* Strong financial acumen and ability to understand financial models

Executes long term strategic plan for the aftermarket in assigned Region

* Ability to manage customer relationships while continuously improving Eaton's reputation

* Comfortable at all levels of the organization and the skill to develop executive relationships with customers

* Knowledge of commercial aftermarket, aerospace products and how they are used in customer applications

* Experience with working with various channel partners to maximize intake and sales to airline customers.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

* 7 years professional experience with a minimum of 5 years in an aerospace sales/customer support or airline purchasing/supply chain role

* Must be legally authorized to work in the Germany without company sponsorship

* Knowledge of the aerospace market and specifically the aftermarket business

* Knowledge of the European Airline market and customer base

* Exceptional communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written

* Experience with airline maintenance or services functions
