It is the primary responsibilityof the Cook to perform basic food preparation and operate a specific stationwith others or individually. All duties are to be performed in accordance withdepartmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

* Monitors and maintainscleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

* Transports supplies from thestoreroom and stock in designated areas.

* Starts prep work on items neededfor the particular menu of the day.

* Prepares all menu items followingrecipes and yield guide.

* All requisitions are processedproperly and placed in designated area.

* Properly labels and dates allproducts to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.

* Meets with Assistant Chef toreview assignments, anticipated business levels, changes and other informationpertinent to the job performance.

* Completes opening duties such assetting up work station with required place, tools, equipment and supplies,inspecting the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment andsupplies, checking production schedule and pars, establishing priority itemsfor the day and informing the Assistant Chef of any supplies that need to berequisitioned for the day's tasks.

* Continues prep work after themeal period for the next meal service.

* Performs all other job relatedduties as requested.


* At least 3 year of kitchenexperience in a similar position.

* Excellent customer serviceskills.

* Have interpersonal skills to dealeffectively with all business contacts.

* Professional appearance anddemeanor.

* Work varied shifts includingweekends and holidays.

* High school diploma orequivalent.

* Able to effectively communicatein English, in both written and oral forms.
