This position is located in our North Austin, TX office.

Job Responsibilities:

* Exercise discretion and independent judgment in developing and implementing logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.

* Maintain inventory control, including cycle counts and all SOX controls.

* Manage receipt and transactions of all incoming supply to the various warehouses and finished machines from Production including transport from the Production area.

* Work with and manage all logistics suppliers ensuring transportation efforts are maintained to the highest standards.

* Manage and establish processes/procedures to effectively account for and protect all storage within the Manufacturing warehouses, including raw inventory and Finished Goods in accordance with appropriate warehousing theories and techniques.

* Customarily and regularly supervise loading / unloading of containers / trailers.

* Ensure accurate aggregation of Finished Goods Inventory by sales order and ensure physical versus financial integrity is maintained at all times.

* Ensure all inventory movements are properly transacted in database.

* Customarily and regularly oversee the completion of daily audits to reconcile physical inventory with computerized records of inventory quantity / location.

* Own and coordinate all physical inventory efforts working with the Internal Audit and Financial community.

* Lean Savvy and the ability to generate and maintain department metrics for measuring success / opportunities.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.


* Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

* APICS certification highly preferred, but not required.

* 8-12 years of actual on the job experience in Warehousing and Logistics.

* Has in-depth knowledge of Warehousing and Logistics.

* Has in-depth knowledge of production operations workflows.

* In-depth knowledge in the following: Leadership, Material handling/warehousing techniques and principles, Organization and Communication.

* Previous knowledge and experience with Lean manufacturing concepts a highly preferred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Applications especially Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

* Has in-depth level proficiency with several relevant ERP tools.
