Job Description

New car dealer is seeking a full-time car rental manager to help grow our car and truck rental operation and assist current part-time employee. Candidates should have excellent customer relations and computer skills, and outgoing, positive personality. Experience in the vehicle rental industry is essential with management experience preferred. Familiarity with TSD rental software is a plus, but we can train. This position is an opportunity for a motivated candidate to grow a long-established operation to a new level. Rentals are offered to the general public and are used to support our service and collision departments, as well.

Duties include answering and responding to phone and internet rental requests, completing paperwork, orienting customers to their rental vehicle, monitoring vehicle returns, maximizing our fleet utilization, and inspecting vehicle conditions upon rental and return, as well as forward planning for the operation. Some light cleaning of rentals may be required, such a vacuuming, window cleaning and refueling to insure our customers have a great experience.
