Job Description

Directly responsible for the marketing, recruiting and hiring function for the Los Angeles Airport (LAX) station. This is a high-volume recruiting role, focused on filling primarily entry-level positions. Heavy focus on maintaining the on-line employment postings, external and internal postings, career fairs, applicant screening, compliance screening - include drug testing, background checks, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience; including large hiring events, entry level through supervisory level hiring as well as screening for Management positions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proven track record of building positive relationships with operations

  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills

  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Advanced MS Office skills; including Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Power Point

  • Multi-lingual skills a plus, but not required

    PERSONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Possess the tact to effectively deal with all levels of applicants, employees, management and clients

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background search

  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain an airport security badge

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update company website for all open positions, job descriptions, set up new users, assist with all aspects of the full-cycle recruiting process

  • Managing and editing of job postings to control costs and maximize the effectiveness of each posting

  • Scheduling, coordination and administration of career fairs

  • Maintain recruiting statistical reports, tracking candidates and open positions, and establish recruiting plans to enhance applicant flow

  • Provide direction for recruiting efforts within the company; utilize a broad range of recruitment sources to meet staffing and EEO/Affirmative Action requirements
  • Assist with the advisement of location operations managers/supervisors in employee retention efforts
  • Ensure compliance with WOTC and other applicable statutes and regulations related to the talent acquisition process
  • Maintain E-verify and I-9 process for all new hires
