The Opportunity

As a Sales Executive within Welk Resort Group, you will be selling a lifestyle product to upscale buyers interested in owning a piece of Sunny San Diego.

Our resort built exclusively as a vacation ownership destination offers a spectacular getaway for travelers from all over the globe. Two 18 hole golf courses, 7 pools with 3 water-slides, hiking trails, full Broadway Style Theater, top notch restaurants, nearby wineries and weekly farmers markets. Our Resort is just a short drive away from the ocean, mountains, Down Town San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles.

This is an excellent opportunity for strong closers to sell to qualified buyers who are pre-screened to attend an appointment-only presentation of our Escondido/San Diego property and the many features and benefits of becoming a Welk Resort Group owner. Sales must be completed on the same day, which requires laser-focused influence and persuasion skills. All pre-screened and qualified leads are provided to you by Welk Resorts. The Qualified Professional

Some of our top sales professionals come from diverse, high-end businesses such as finance, investments, real estate, jewelry, automotive and personal services. More important, all of our Sales Executives, regardless of background, have the following attributes in common:

  • Extensive knowledge of Southern California and all it has to offer,
  • Exposure to different cultures and international luxury hotels/resorts as gained through world travel.
  • The sophistication to build rapport with buyers who currently enjoy a luxury lifestyle, as well as those who aspire to that dream.
  • At least two years of direct consumer sales experience in the luxury-tier goods or services sector.
  • A sharp professional image with the ambition and drive to make things happen.

Previous timeshare/vacation ownership sales experience is preferred, but not required we will train. Although, you must be able to demonstrate how your previous sales history is relevant and will contribute to your success.

The ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays) is essential.

Your benefits will include an hourly pay vs weekly commissions in addition to monthly, and quarterly bonus.
